Great for "visual" learners
The guys over at Theme Forest have posted a great series of PHP tutorial screen casts. Anyone who is interested in learning PHP should check these out, they cover a lot of ground and best of all it's free. I checked out a few of these and they cover everything from downloading Apache, MySql and PHP to working with Regular Expressions.
A good idea for anyone using a bloging tool or CMS
I think PHP is a must have tool in your arsenal for any web professional dealing with the front end of any PHP powered content tool. The more you know about what's going on under the hood of your system, the more control you have over the display of your site, not to mention the opportunities you have for customization. These tutorials are a great way to get started using PHP.
