Today I stumbled across SilverStripe CMS. They have just released version 2.0 (stable). At first glance it looks pretty slick. Their catchphrase is "So easy even Mum can use it. Mum? Well it's made by a group of developers from New Zealand, so I guess we'll cut 'em some slack.
I checked out the demo, and it's pretty sweet. Some slick AJAX work on the back end enables you to veiw your site before you publish it, which for me, is a huge selling point. Well, not selling point, it's opensource.
There's not much in the way of documentation but I think that will change fast. SilverStripe is billed as an enterprise level piece of software and I think this one is going to take off. Check it out.
