About the Website

built with

ScottSandersDesign.com was hand built using BBEdit on a Macbook Pro. Adobe Photoshop was used for images, Flash CS3, in combination with SlideShowPro, was used for the portfolio section, and Adobe Illustrator was used for a few icons scattered about.


Backend

The framework of the site is built on an open source CMS platform called Textpattern, which is written in PHP running off of a MYSQL database. Textpattern is a simple, expandable, CMS that outputs clean, valid xhtml code.


Hosting

My site is hosted using 1and1.com's "Home Shared Server Package".
